Mar does a great job at making you feel comfortable and confident! When I first started seeing her, I was really self-conscious and worried she would treat me differently as a larger woman, but she was very professional. I had nothing to worry about! Now my only regret is not having started to do this sooner for myself. I highly recommend Beauty Effect!

I tried sugaring in LA and immediately made the switch from waxing. After my first appointment in Cali I had to move back to Texas for a temporary job position. It was much more challenging to find people who practice sugaring in Texas simply because the demand isn't as high (yet)! I was initially wary to visit Marcela b/c of the few negative reviews, but having been to her my whole time here I haven't experienced any of what the bad reviews mentioned! She's educational, friendly, and (best of all) sanitary! I encourage potential visitors to make an appointment and judge her service for yourself.Service: Body waxing
