Locker room and bathroom always smell terrible, toilets constantly broken, just overall filthy

Love the remodel but the cable machine area is too crowded. The new area with the squat/multi use stations is never as crowded, id love to see a couple of those Matrix cable machines moved in to the new space.

Waste of money at this point. The bathroom is horrendous, the sauna is atrocious, unsanitary workout equipment, very little effort to maintain the gym from staff, it’s just sad. Wouldn’t recommend, and there are few quality options it appears in Lewisville.

this place has some solid workout equipment, no complaints there. the weights are always available and the machines are decent. but OMG the bathroom and sauna area straight up STINK. like seriously needs a deep clean ASAP. the smell is so bad it makes me wanna skip those areas completely. Sauna and bathroom needs to air out and cleaned regularly.

So unfortunate that the LA Fitness Coppell closed down and forced us into this gym. LA Fitness Lewisville is an absolutely disgusting gym. Germex and basic hygiene items are almost never refilled. The equipment is at least 20 years old and are hardly ever cleaned or maintained. And there’s probably only one person working at a time on the busiest days.

Please invest in cleaning this gym. It’s a sickness spreader at this point.

I want to add that on top of this gym being gross, the kids club isn’t opened on time / closed when it should be open, because I guess the workers just choose not to show up?

Great pool management, but hygiene rules need stricter enforcement

Since the Coppell location closed, this branch has become much busier, making parking quite a challenge. However, I’ve noticed that the pool is being very well-maintained lately. The water temperature is perfect, and I truly appreciate LA Fitness for keeping the facilities in good shape.

That being said, I’ve had some unpleasant experiences due to the behavior of a few members. Too many people enter the pool without showering first. It’s particularly off-putting to see people jump straight into the pool while drenched in sweat right after a sauna session. It feels like they aren't there to swim, but simply to use the pool as a quick way to cool down their bodies.

Additionally, many people do not wear swim caps. Getting someone else's hair in your mouth while swimming is a very hygiene-disrupting experience.

While I understand this isn't directly the fault of LA Fitness, I believe it would be very helpful for water quality management if there were clear signage on the walls instructing members to shower before entering and to wear swim caps at all times.

Nick kowalsky at the front desk goes above and beyond to help out the patrions. Always a pleasure seeing him and he is always extremely kind and courteous!
