    I love the hospital, dr.montez, and every technician who help oreo with his fear aggression. But I absolutely dislike that Sabrina front desk lady is rude to me and oreo every single time we have interaction with her. She definitely needs some training in customer service. She doesn't need to know how to smile or anything but she sure does need to learn how to talk and not be rude and swear at her hospital clients. I try to be as kind as possible and understanding of her situation. Everyone has their bad days and are dealing with alot of stuff that others wouldn't know. So I try my best to be patient and understanding of her behavior towards me and oreo but she is always rude to us every single time.
    Despite all our awful interactions with Sabrina, the hospital and the vets are amazing so I always take oreo here for all his visits!

    We had an exceptional first visit. From the moment we walked in until we left, we were treated like VIPs—honestly, I checked to see if we accidentally booked a spa. Our kids got an animal coloring book and were allowed to adopt a stuffed pet, our puppy left with a brand-new dog tag like the star she is, and I was gifted a bottle of wine… which felt especially thoughtful considering we’re currently potty training a new puppy and running on zero sleep. Every question and concern we had was answered with patience and genuine care. The veterinarian was fantastic, and the technician was next-level AMAZING. Highly recommend bringing your fur babies here—you’ll leave feeling cared for, educated, and slightly more prepared for puppy chaos.

    This review is long overdue. Firehouse Animal Health Center has cared for our cat and dog for several years, and from the very beginning it was clear that they truly believe animals are family, not property. That mindset alone sets them apart, and it’s something we felt in every single visit.

    Sadly, we’ve recently moved out of state and can no longer use Firehouse, but they are already missed tremendously. The entire staff genuinely adored our pets and were always so excited to see them. Our dog has a complex medical history, and they were consistently on top of everything — treatments, recommendations, and thoughtful alternatives — always making sure we felt informed and supported.

    We primarily worked with Dr. Montes, who is absolutely wonderful. Our dog is very hyper and energetic, yet something about her calm, reassuring presence instantly put him at ease. He always knew he was in good hands, and so did we. We loved having her care for both our dog and our cat.

    Every visit started with a warm welcome, and our pets were always loved on like they were their own. The team is incredibly accessible — by phone, text, or email — and always responsive. Our dog came in weekly for allergy injections, and unbelievably, it was his favorite activity. We called it going to the “DogTor,” and he would howl with excitement and jump into the car because he loved seeing all his friends there.

    Grace was our regular tech for those visits, and she is truly amazing. She always made sure to give our boy plenty of love before and after his injections. Even when she wasn’t scheduled with him, she would pop in just to say hello and give him some extra attention. So many of the other techs did the same, which meant the world to us.

    Firehouse has gone above and beyond in every way imaginable. Before our move, they ensured all medications were refilled so we wouldn’t have to worry during the transition. Even after we relocated, they proactively worked with our new vet to help them navigate ordering our dog’s special medication — without us even having to ask. Shout out to Sam for being incredibly communicative and staying on top of everything to make sure our dog continued receiving the care he needs.

    Firehouse is genuinely one of the things we miss most about being in Texas. We know we won’t find another vet that cares as deeply about our fur babies — and us — as they do.
    Thank you for everything, Firehouse. We miss you more than you know. 🖤

    My little covid baby has abandonment issues at the vet because we weren’t allowed in during 2020 quarantine. Our vet and vet tech were so nice and accommodating to keeping us together on our check up and overdue annual this week.

    Everyone is consistently friendly and attentive when we go there for services. The vets are all wonderful and clearly care about animals.

    We had such an amazing experience! You can honestly tell they care about your experience. Dr Burrows and Sarah were so patient and kind with our boys. My pitbull may seem a little scary to some but they were both so sweet and got down on the ground to make him comfortable. They made sure to address all of our concerns and I really felt heard. Pricing was more than fair and the front was super nice too. We also got the sweetest welcome gift.

    As an existing customer I've called this location a few times to get help and each time I call I'm placed on hold and no one ever picks up. This happens even when I call at different times of day. I've waited over 15 minutes. Then i call back and they try to put me on hold again. Please hire more people, I don't experience this at other veterinary clinics.
