Overall exceptional character, honesty, competitive pricing, and friendly service by the whole crew.
I was hesitant to go off of Nextdoor initially but had noticed their responses to Nextdoor posts with questions along their line of work. I was needing help with my sprinklers and tree pruning/removals. Since their responses wasn't with pressure tactics I had seen from others and positive reviews, I decided to gave them a shot and now have had them done two jobs for me - sprinklers and tree pruning/removal. Glad I did!
Just making small talk with Enrique, you can just get vibes of someone's character and honesty by their body language, pitch and tone, and verbal responses. He wasn't pushy and spent his time (really spent his time) to explain my sprinkler controls and advice from grass seeds to control valves which then led to small talks that really showed alot of his past experiences in life growing up but I digress. The whole experience with him, Adrianna, and his crew have all been exceptional. Plan to have them do my landscaping in the Spring.
If anything they can do better for peace of mind is that I am use to getting a call or text when a crew is on the way within 20-30 minutes. I never got one but.... they have always been prompt and showed up at the noted date and time. Again just peace of mind. :)

Allende designed and installed a complete drainage system for the east side of my property. The work was completed in one day, for half the price quoted by their competition. The owners are very professional (both are engineers), and knowlegeable and easy to talk to. They are very prompt and thorough. The even had a superior drain system at the street. While they were here, they also solved a problem with my neighbor's drainiage system.

I consider myself fortunate to have found Allende Construction’s web site while searching for a company that would do a good job installing a concrete slab that would extend an existing concrete patio. The company responded quickly to my queries, answered by questions completely, and scheduled an on-site visit by Enrique Allende.
Enrique arrived on time and discussed the patio extension project with us, patiently describing how the work would progress. Enrique also explained how a drainage problem in our back yard could be solved. A few days later we received separate quotes, along with detail scope of work, for both the patio extension and the drainage system.
• Extend existing concrete patio by installing a 4-inch thick, reinforced concrete slab measuring appr 140 sq ft. • Install a new drainage system consisting of a 60ft 4-inch PVC drainage pipe that transports water from a gutter downspout and two 6-inch catch basins. The discharge point was to be a pop-up emitter installed by the back fence.
We decided to greenlight both projects after learning that they could both be completed within 2.5 days.
Allende Construction scheduled the work to begin three weeks later, just after our return from vacation. Prior to our return, they had arranged for utility vendors (AT&T, EnTouch, Comcast, Centerpoint etc.) to stop by to mark our property. This precaution was needed to ensure that the drainage system installation did not disrupt any gas or cable lines.
Enrique and two employees began work on time, at 8am Monday morning of the scheduled week. Enrique eventually left and later returned, but the two men worked all day long.
They removed approximately 47 cubic feet of soil from the approximately 140 sq ft area that would hold the new concrete slab. They also installed wooden barrier to hold the soft concrete and a rebar grid.
During that first day they also installed the drainage system. This also involved a lot of digging for the long drainage pipe, the two catch basins, and the discharge point. I was especially pleased, and surprised, that they manage to save and replace the sod when digging the long trench.
The drainage system works great. I tested it by attempting to flood the area using a garden hose. The catch basins accepted all the water easily, sending that caught water through the drainage pipe to the discharge point near the back fence. Our back fence borders a bayou, so it perfectly fine that the overflow runs under the fence.
Enrique and the two men arrived again the next day (Tuesday) at about 8am. A concrete mixing truck subsequently arrived and parked in front of the house. The two Allende men used a wheel barrel to move wet concrete mix from the concrete mixing truck to patio extension area. They also leveled and groomed the concrete.
By Tuesday noon my wife had also asked Enrique how much it would cost to install rock gravel along portions of the house foundation, primarily in the front of the house, but also a smaller portion in the back. This was additional work scope for which Adriana sent me a quote to Install 60 sq ft of river rock gravel. Work also included laying down steel edging and a filter fabric.
We were thrilled when Enrique arrived a few hours later with a truck containing a cubic yard of river rock gravel plus the required steel edging and filter fabric. The Allende people installed the river rock gravel that very afternoon. We could not have asked for a more positive and quick response to this additional request. It looks great.
The team returned on Thursday, after the concrete had set, to remove temporary wooden barrier and touch up the edges of the concrete. Enrique then advised me to water the concrete every day for a week. Apparently water the concrete early on helps to strengthen the concrete.
