I hired Julio Frias, with Frias Hardwood Floors, to replace and refinish my hardwood floors after Hurricane Harvey.... what i got was a HOT MESS with a lot of regret!!! My builder used this contractor before in our house to replace some flooring due to water damage so i thought it would be a sure bet they could match what they had previously done. Problems started from the beginning when they decided the entire living room floor needed to be replaced (instead of repairing like they were hired to do) and took the liberty to rip out the entire floor without my permission or allowing me to get a 2nd opinion,... i should have fired them then and found another contractor.... read full review

When I hired the company I specifically asked if they could sand my flooe without leaving sanding waves. I was assured this would be no problem. Once the floors were finished the waves were terrible. I'm going to have to hire another company to redo their work. This was not the only problem. I could go on and on.

I hired this company to refinish my solid bird's eye maple floors. I specifically asked if they could do the job without leaving sanding waves and was repeatedly assured waves would be no problem. When the floors were done the waves were present all over the floor and very obvious. I'm trying to sell the home and have not hired anyone to fix this but will have to pay someone else to redo the floors when we move out. I cannot recommend this company.
