Stay away from doing business with Texas Star Steel Metal unless you want to be constantly ghosted. This was by far one of the worst customer service experiences I've had.
Communication was terrible from start to finish. I was repeatedly told someone would follow up with me, but no one ever did. I constantly had to call and chase down answers myself. When it came time for installation, I was given a date and took time off work so I could remove my fence and provide access to my yard. The crew never showed up.
I tried contacting their branch dealer, but they had no idea what was going on either. My installation appointment was scheduled between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM. At 5:00 PM, I received a call saying they would arrive at 6:30 PM, but they never showed. I was then told they would be there the following morning at 6:30 AM, yet they didn't arrive until 10:00 AM.
As a result, I lost work time, wasted personal time, and dealt with unnecessary frustration. The lack of communication, poor scheduling, and overall customer service were unacceptable. From the sales team to the installation crew, the experience was disappointing.
I would not recommend Texas Star Metal to anyone

I would highly recommend not doing business with this company. The lack of follow through and communication is beyond frustrating. I get told I will be updated for an install, only to have to call back in for an update after they said they would have contacted me back. It turns out they pushed my install back another week and still do not have a specific day for the work. I was told they do not do permits on their work, but when I go and get a permit they tell me they need it for their files. There is still no carport months after this was ordered. I hope their workmanship is better than their communication.

I wish I could recommend this company but I am unable to. Trying to get our workshop fixed, due to a door that was improperly installed by their workers, has been a multiple month nightmare!!!! At this point everytime I talk to them I think “next couple of weeks” is nothing but a lie they tell consumers. Now we are approaching the holidays and they were suppose to be here to fix our workshop FINALLY… but now I had to call to discover their contractors had cancelled on their own and no-showed without telling us. On top of this I get told how its the holidays so I basically need to be understanding that people took off. Now I get that but when ive been requesting repairs since SUMMER its really really hard to be understanding. I am beyond annoyed and wish I had never gone with this company. The initial salesman did a great job at punking us out and made us believe we would be taken care of but now we see that was a lie. Run the other way.

From purchase all the way to the installation the process was great. Dealing with Fernie through the purchase and figuring out a date for install the communication was on point. Chuy also did a top notch job throughout the installation process of the metal building. Will purchase another metal building through Texas Star steel with no doubts.

I had a very good and seamless experience with Texas Star Steel. They communicated well and worked quickly. They had a small delay on the anticipated delivery date, but they communicated well. It is good workmanship and they cleaned up nicely after. A bonus is that the employees seemed to enjoy being with one another while working, and playing music. That is the sign of a good business. Super excited for our new building.

They were quick to get us a contract to sign and great at communicating before that but once we signed and paid a deposit which they told us was refundable that all stopped! We went with another company because they were much cheaper and now we can’t get them to give us our deposit back! We’ve called repeatedly and they always take a message for someone who is never there and we never hear back….REPEATEDLY! Definitely don’t recommend unless you’re into throwing away your money for nothing.

The employees were hard workers and cared about their build. They worked early in the morning and left when it got dark. That is dedication. They were very responsive when my husband had a question. Great hard workers. We appreciate the dedication they provided and the customer service. They were very knowledgeable. They cleaned up after themselves each day. They were busy doing their job every day. Great work and our garage looks wonderful. Great experience and we will definitely use this company again. We will share your business cards with friends and family. Thank you

We were told that they would be our to our place since Thursday they had an axle break on the trailer said they would be out Saturday for sure still waiting no communication or update from Company not good business practice
