Healthy environment! Super professional and respectful to students!

After trying a few dojos around Dallas, I came across this Club located at the corner of Walnut Hill and Marsh. For the last 2 years, I have come to this studio and every instructor has been helpful and informative in their own way. As an adult, its difficult to find a studio that appeals to someone beginning their training later in life. OKCD is more than a dojo, its a family and I encourage anyone wanting to try martial arts to give it a try.

From Okinawa Karate Club of Dallas

The Okinawan Karate Club of Dallas (OKCD) teaches traditional Okinawan Shorin Ryu Karate as taught by the late Eizo Shimabukuro O'Sensei and Okinawan Shudokan Karate as taught by the late Shibucho Walter Todd. Okinawan weapons (kobudo) are taught to advanced students. We have been teaching traditional martial arts in Dallas since 1984. Our focus is on the material of each program, conditioning, self-defense, the history and philosophy of the martial arts and challenging each student. If you are looking for this, please come visit our dojo. We have separate adult and youth classes. We have no contracts or testing fees and we have low monthly dues.
