Texas A&M acts like we don't pay thousands of dollars to go to school here. THEY DO NOT TAKE APPOINTMENTS EVEN IF IT IS A MINUTE LATE. my appointment was at 11, I rode the bus, got there at 11:05 and they cancelled my appointment. I AM SO SICK. I feel like I am dying. It is affecting me going to class. The office lady was extremely unhelpful and didnt even offer me another appointment. It's a good thing I have insurance and can just go to an ER. But HEAR ME A&M. We pay THOUSANDS that we don't have to attend this university, and you cancel my appointment for being 5 minutes late. Treated my friend horribly. Wouldn’t let her in when she was less than five minutes late and called security on her after she asked if she could go back to ask her PA if she could still see her. Charged her a fee and called security on her. Then was told to come back the middle of Thursday and she said she couldn’t because she needed her ring and was told she needed to reschedule getting her ring even though she has family in town. I’ve also had bad experiences with them belittling my friends and me. They do not seem to care at all about the students and just want money.

Arrived at my appointment for flu-like symptoms and was promptly dismissed without testing for flu, strep, rsv, covid, etc. Practitioner instead added “ANXIETY” in all caps to my patient medical chart. Went to urgent care a day later and was diagnosed with an upper respiratory infection. 2 stars for ease of booking an appointment, accessibility on campus, and affordable pricing.
