Lori Gross has been providing therapies to my 5-year-old son for the last 2.5 years. She has been great with helping my son learn social & emotional expectations through play therapies, especially in areas where I felt I was failing as a parent. She provides paperwork to parents & caregivers to help them understand what techniques and systems she uses to teach and help direct children in learning skills to cope and adjust to these expectations. Lori began treating my son when he was 2.5 years old. At that time he did not speak or make eye contact. He did not recognize facial expressions, he was unable to control his emotions and his behavior was often unmanageable. After several other professional consultations I was afraid that my son would never speak or be able to attend regular schools.Lori began an intensive therapy program with my son which included both individual speech and group social sessions. We have been working with Ms Lori for over a year. My son goes to her for speech and social class. The technique she works on of social thinking is amazing. It has been a slow process but definitely my son has learnt a lot from her. Thera-kids offer several other therapy options like music, cooking and yoga for kids. One stop place for our kid to do several activities. With all this my son has come a long in his speech development. The staff is super friendly and it feels more like a family now.
