Yeah don't bother. Plenty of other places in the area to go.

Small, makeshift warehouse place that looks like was put together with very low budget. After inquiring for info and a dojo tour, was put in contact with Angela, who started becoming pushy on having me give personal info to sign waivers and enroll even though I had asked just to briefly spectate a class, to the point of being rude with unprofessional tone.
This interaction was enough for me to know to take my business elsewhere where they have professional establishment and staff. Don’t waste your time

UPDATE: To put The cherry on top, the staff have threatened to post “screenshots” of the texts exchange along with security stills of me during my visit as some sort of retaliation for the review. If this doesn’t tell you the nature of this establishment and its staff nothing else will.

I have been obsessed with martial arts for most of my life and I have trained on and off at different gyms and dojos for years, this is the only place I have ever genuinely felt like I get better at fighting everyday!

This is, without a doubt, the lowest cost school in town. I can train here in multiple disciplines and pay less than all the other schools that only offer 1 discipline.

If you would like to train with an almost endlessly knowledgeable and kind group of people for a ridiculously low price check us out!

Great gym to learn grappling at. Much more down to earth than other more esoteric martial arts schools I’ve been to. I’ve been going about 4 hrs a week for a year and have learned so much in that time. Awesome vibes and would definitely recommend for anybody wanting to learn

I love this Dojo. My son has been training here now for over 3 months, and he has been getting stronger and more confident. He was bullied in school in the past, which made him recluse. He is now excited to be around his friends who challenge him to be better. The physical training with other kids his age prepares him for self-defense against any future bullies. The Sensai and coaches here are amazing. They are patient and work with kids at different levels. They are great at keeping the atmosphere exciting and gun. The Sensai gives them time to learn the meaning of the Japanese words they use as well as teach them how to write it in Japanese as well. We tried other places in the past, and we have now found the perfect place here for my son.

Raving so much about this gym! Sensei is so attentive and instructed my 7 year old so well. My daughter loved the environment of a smaller gym and it showed they truly cared about her growth. Not only that we had to move away but all communication after we have moved has been very positive and helpful! Thank you Austin Dojo! Y’all rock and we miss you!

I have been meaning to go back to this studio but have been unable to because of the pandemic.I’d like to share why I am fond of this place along with why I believe everyone should visit it and check it out.I was a newly sober person then and was looking for things to occupy my mind to prevent me from relapsing. I heard about this place on FB and saw that they had guided group meditation and decided to give it a go.It quickly became a weekly ritual for me because I found this beautiful community of people who never made me feel like I didn’t belong.Any questions I had about martial arts or life in general was always answered with personal input from everyone and it was amazing. Also we would just hang out and chat after practice or meditation and it was just beautiful, I can definitely credit this place and its instructors as a way for me to have build a stronger foundation early on in my sobriety.I will definitely be back soon and I cannot wait to mingle with everyone and just have a great time growing both physically and spiritually.
