I first contacted EM Fencing on about October 5, 2024 in an email. Stating in part, I had a friend who got a new puppy and was looking to expand an existing dog kennel area by adding a 4-foot-high galvanized chain link fence that will adjoin the existing kennel, creating an enclosure approximately 30' x 50'. I left my name and phone number in the email as well as a sketch of the new fence and photos of the existing landscape.
I spoke with the owner of EM Fencing, Fred, a few days later, and we came to terms on how the fence would be constructed and settled on a price a price. Fred said he could get by in 2 to 4 weeks to do the project.
How about December 2, 2024, I telephoned EM Fencing and asked for Fred. Fred was not in and I informed the woman who answered about the fencing agreement I had made with Fred and was wondering when they might get out to do the work. The woman said that she had been hospitalized and that Fred was with her during that timeframe. She said that she would have Fred call me. Fred did call me within the hour, stating he had not forgotten about us, and that he would likely be in touch in the next couple weeks.
Two weeks went by and then the holidays came so on about January 6, 2025, I again called EM Fencing. The woman answering the phone stated that Fred was out on a big airport project they had picked up and thought that they would be done by the end of the week. She asked if I wanted Fred to call me and I said no, that wasn't necessary. Just have him get with me when his airport project is done. Fred never called.
