I switched to Vanderbilt having forgotten that the folks who actually run the place (as in billing and coders) could not care less about patients. I went in to my new primary care doctor to get a physical LAST MAY and the coder sent in the wrong code saying it was some kind of "new first visit preventative care" kind of visit which of course Medicare refused. Let me 'splain that I got palpated, had blood work done and was sent on my merry way that I was healthy. But nope not gonna consider that a physical. They resubmitted the claim as "a visit not covered by Medicare" like they intentionally were trying not to correct this mistake and were aiming to gouge me intentionally....read full review
