When I decided to purchase a home in Tennessee while living in Florida, I knew I’d have to get a realtor I could trust to be boots on the ground and help me throughout the home buying process while I was states away. We were one of many families who relocated to Tennessee over the course of 2022. Buying a property in your current state comes with its own set of issues, but buying property in a state you're completely unfamiliar with is its own kind of beast entirely. Jen made a point of describing the different areas we were thinking about in detail, sent us countless houses to review online and even more that she took it upon herself to tour and take videos of not only the houses, but also the neighborhoods and surrounding areas when she thought we might like it.
