Where to begin? Heart and Soul Hospice is a God-send! After an unfortunate experience with another local hospice company, I was a little reluctant to try again to find a better fit for my 94 year old Grama who lived with me for the past 6.5 years. I was opposed to simply just stopping all of my Grama's meds, as the previous hospice company was pushing us to do. So we were discharged back to palliative care. A friend in the medical field had recommended Heart and Soul Hospice to me when I asked her if she knew of any hospice companies that it wasn't their mission to just stop all of a patient's meds.
