Today I received back a 1963 Gibson Dove I sent off to this facility to be repaired back in February of 2022 (yes, a year and a half ago). It was an expensive repair but it was damage resulting from 60 years of wear and tear, some of it was pretty extensive.I have NO WORDS for the level of professionalism, quality, and attention given to the restoration of this instrument. I literally cannot visibly see where there was ever any damage (and again, it was extensive). The staining of the wood and the finish are both completely blended with the rest of the instrument and the overall stability is to pristine condition! I have a J35 I have owned my whole life. I thought it would be great to have it restored, spoke to Zach he told me to send photos to get a estimate on work so I sent them to no response? Called customer service no call back ? I tried several times so disappointing. If you guys are backlogged at least have the courtesy to tell customers. Always thought the Gibson brand was a cut above not so. Zach thank you so much for reaching out and helping me ! You restored my faith in the number one brand in musical instruments.
I gave these guys my recently purchased 1960 Les Paul Junior double cutaway to restore. Got it back today. They did some pretty major restoration to it. I can tell they did everything to keep the spirit of the instrument intact, doing just enough to make it very enjoyable to play.It wasn’t when I purchased it. I recently played a brand new Junior and my restored instrument is better in every way. I just love it. These guys are artists in the best sense of the word.Worth every penny. And the restoration was not as expensive as I thought it would be.Don’t hesitate to take your instrument there…Amazing people, amazing work.
