First and foremost this place has a HUGE selection of plants. I love visiting small town nurseries/farmers markets. This place has the BEST selection of plants at a price you just cannot beat.
When you first enter you go inside to notify them of your arrival, (i can’t read so i just started walking around so i figured out the easy way later). The sweet lady (the owner) will give you a booklet with their complete inventory for that year with prices inside so your not wandering around for hours trying to find one thing, as well as she will give you a paper and a pen to write down what you have... read full review
My husband and I have lived just 6 miles from this gem for two years and had no idea it existed until yesterday! We stopped by to check out what trees they had for our front yard and were immediately greeted by two lovely ladies — one of whom I’m pretty sure was the owner, rocking peacefully on the front porch like a scene from a storybook. The whole place had such a calm, welcoming vibe.
When I mentioned we were tree shopping, one of the ladies handed me a full book of their inventory (with prices!), a blank sheet to jot down what we wanted, and even a pen — she pointed out the tree section and let us know they had carts to haul them to the car.... read full review
I went to verona caney gardens for the first time today and I couldn’t have had a better experience! The owner Mrs. Black is such a kind Godly woman. They have a ginormous variety of plants, herbs, gifts, produce, honey, grass fed and grass finished meat, etc. I could not recommend this local garden more. They have just about everything. It has been a challenge to find a local farm/store that sells grass fed and finished meat as well as other produce and plants. Not to mention the owners love Jesus!! Highly recommend this amazing store!!!!!
