When our normal vets front office staff was less than accommodating (called on Monday, appointment no earlier than Friday) for the swelling of our dogs abdomen. I called Admiral Veterinary Hospital and they scheduled our dog for the next morning. Our dog had never been seen in their office before. They also stated they would make our dog a priority on their cancellation list, and they did. There was a cancellation the same day I called. Our dog was able to see Dr.Hickey that afternoon and get on the medication needed to give us a few more days with her. Dr. Hickey is wonderful! She was the primary provider for our dogs and we saw her frequently when we brought the dogs in throughout the years. The staff has grown and each member has been so wonderful.
Dr. Warren and the team was so sweet and caring to all of us during our Labradors final hours this week. Dr. Hickey came in to share her condolences and say goodbye to our sweet boy. They truly care about their patients and their families.
This is my second time at Admiral veterinary Hospital with my two different rescue dogs. After having an atrocious experience at my former Vet, Dr Neff and the rest of the staff at Admiral Vet are a welcome change. You can tell that they actually care about the animals and Take their time to explain to you certain situations and possible complications of procedures. Not one time that I feel rushed out of the office. Dr. Neff exudes an air of professionalism and honesty. I can again feel comfortable with my dogs being in the care of a veterinarian.!
