I have a cat with chronic urinary issues and they always take good care of him. I've never had an issue getting a same day appointment which is huge for us since his issues are often suddenly emergent. When we do go, the veterinarian sees us within a few minutes of arrival. They really listen and take into consideration the owner's judgment and the animal's medical history. We commute almost 40 minutes to come here from Johnson City and its well worth it. Their pricing is reasonable and they accept care credit which often offers no interest financing for more expensive bills which is another big plus.

I wouldn’t even leave one star but I had to to leave a review. My dog was poisoned by rat poison on Saturday. I took him to the airport emergency vet twice, the first night I waited hours and had to come back the next day to wait hours. They said I had a past due balance of a hundred dollars that wasn’t true. The last time I had him there the vet tech said she didn’t feel right charging me because he was so scared she couldn’t touch him and said she would waive the fee. A Good Samaritan paid $240! And a good friend paid $100 which they pocketed. They took the other $240 and gave me two pills to give him. He wasn’t improving I called Cherry point they said they could handle aggressive dogs. I went last night at5:30 they close at 6:00. They charged $57 as soon as I walked in, gave me three pills to give him to sedate him to bring him back in the morning and charged me another $57 as a late fee because we started 10 minutes past closing. I gave him the meds and bright him in at 10:30 like they asked. They stood infront of me in the exam room saying they needed $270 I said okay I got you. In paid them $300, but I couldn’t get a muzzle on him so I stepped out of the room calling my nephew to try and come help me. He said he would be there but it would be a while. In said well I’m not leaving until you get here. As in hung up the receptionist said I need another $200 , I cried for what! ? She said you can’t even muzzle your own dog. So I asked to go to the car since my phone was dying and call to try and get more money. As in was outside on the phone with a donor a man in blue scrubs and gray hair came out and jerked my truck door open and tried to grab my arm. I pulled back and he said you have five minutes to get your dog and leave before I call the police. I had the donor on the phone he heard the entire thing. I begged please save my dog you guys told me you were trained to deal with aggressive dogs but you want me to put a muzzle on him and I can’t, he is my registered emotional support dog. He said get your dog and leave I’m calling the law now. I ran in grabbing his meds grill the airport vet and left in a hurry. They did refund my money but treated me like a criminal for wanting my dog to be saved. My husband called and asked what was up. They told him they knew nothing of anyone telling us to leave that I went to my cat and came back in saying I didn’t have time to stay and wanted a refund! LIES! In just drive am hour there the night before and back home and an hour there this morning. I just wanted someone to care and was treated like a criminal. These people are the criminals! But I finally after three more vets afterwords found one sympathetic enough to take him is called FOUMDATIONS ANIMALS HOSPITAL. They used no muzzle, no choke leash, they allowed me and my husband to hold him while they gave him his sedation shot. I was so torn up afterwards I went next door to the liquor store, guess what? They take donations for people that can’t afford to pay for their animals treatment. And probably the reason in got a good price on all the services the other vets said they would do but back out on me completely. All the others wanted close to $700 dollars. This one took $360, got it all done and quickly. People! These vets are only out for a pay check. Take your pet to Foundations animal hospital in Jonesboro. THEY ACTUALLY CARE! To hell with these other snooty to good for anyone vets that over charge and do nothing for your pet! I’m currently in the parking lot because I can’t stand to see him knocked out like he is, but my husband’s and daughter are in there and they are giving it their best! These other vets should be ashamed he is a registered emotional support animal and they don’t care! Don’t waste your time with cherry point, Jonesboro animal hospital, or sanders animal hospital! The ones that left good review have dogs that aren’t scared and they have plenty of money to cushion the pockets of Dr Cherry himself the most rudest uncompassionate man I’ve ever met

I didn't have the pleasure of going to this location, but my husband did, and my husband at times ; when it comes to our English Bulldogs(× 3) is at times extremely protective and critical. So when I got the report that the entire staff was friendly, professional, and showed sense of compassion and urgency was music to my ears. We actually are new to the area, and the original veterinarian we contacted couldn't see our EBD for almost 3 weeks, but recommended Cherry Point, because our fur baby was having a severe and potential life threatening allergic reaction! So we are both continual greatful for all the care, and compassion you showed. Lastly let me also state that we like the bafoons have not purchased pet insurance, and with EBD, ...well trust me. It's a must! However at Cherry Point our baby got excellent care, and the cost was more than fair. They even were kind enough to send some ear cleanser/steroids for our other two babies when my husband asked why they seem to get ear infections frequently. That speaks volumes in my opinion. Most places would never do that without first scheduling an appointment, and at this time of the year, every dime is accounted for. Sorry for the long review, but everyone needs to know how great this office Truly is! Plus all three of our babies are doing fantastic! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

We don't leave reviews often but we'd like to share the experience we had with cherry point, our cat became extremely ill late Friday, we immediately called cherry point and they made a spot for us right away. They did everything they could and were extremely kind and patient with us while taking the time to explain. Unfortunately due to her condition she passed. But cherry point treated her and us with great respect and kindness They even went as far as to send us a signed card from all the staff showing their condolences This is truly wonderful establishment and we wouldn't recommend anyone else over them

I don’t think there are enough ways i can say how much I appreciate this vet office. From the front office, to the vet techs, to the doctors. They have ALL gone above and beyond to look after my dog Piper. Dr McElroy has been nothing short of amazing. He is SO attentive, knowledgeable, caring and compassionate with Piper. Piper was diagnosed with epilepsy when she was almost 2, and Dr McElroy has gone above and beyond during this process with us (over 2 years). Recently, we found a cancerous tumor on Pipers face and Dr McElroy addressed it immediately and took care of it right away. They always go over the cost of everything with us before anything is done, and if they don’t all we have to do is ask and they will give us an estimate. I recommend this office to anyone and everyone who has animals, Cherry Point is 10/10 in all categories.
