Believe the reviews on this company. You WILL waste your money! The lack of professionalism, lack of communication, and total lack of quality work will leave you feeling really disappointed and regretful you chose them. They have been in business a long time, and I think that makes them feel like they can treat people however they want to treat them because they are the "experts". I wanted to give their experience more weight and all of these bad reviews less weight, so I gave them a shot...but at the end of the day, I should've listened to the reviews...

Waited weeks for an appointment and on the day of the apt, no one showed at the time, nor called to update me on their status. After waiting an hour, I called the office to find out it would be at least another hour before they were out and with the cleaning taking an hour to hour and a half for the actual cleaning, I had an appointment and couldn’t wait for them. They were unable to reschedule in a timely manner and were unapologetic about it. I wouldn’t waste your time with this company.

They did an installation two years ago. This outfit is fast and efficient even with having to customize on the spot. They cleaned everything up, my place looked better than it did before they started. Had them clean two years later. Everything done fast efficient and clean. Told me the interval worked fine, did not insist on anything more. This outfit was highly recommended and I can see why. Always courteous. They leave no trace.

Dans was an absolute rip off - they applied some sealant to out chimney in about 40 minutes and charged $3000 - such crooks -

If I could leave a minus star review I would. They applied a couple hundred dollars of material in about 35 minutes and charged us $3000 - we got so ripped off and will not ever recommend Dans - such crooks -

Had them come out 10/24/22. Have 2 chimneys, one for a wood burning stove, and one for a fireplace. The one for the stove was blocked. After they left, I built a fire in the stove. Filled my house with smoke. Called them back, they were too busy to come back, so I rented a sewer auger, and cleaned it myself. Got about a cubic foot of creosote. Worked fine after that. Two months later, the built a fire in the fireplace and ignited a chimney fire. Fortunately I have a metal roof, so all the burning debris raining down on my roof didn't catch my house on fire.
