This company is wonderful to work with. They have flexible scheduling and try to accommodate busy work schedules.The gentleman who came to our home was honest and upfront on every aspect of our fireplaces. He was very informative, explaining everything he did - and about the set up of our fireplaces.Kudos to Megan in the office, as she was very helpful, too. We trust Black Hat Chimney and look forward to having them back to service our fireplace needs.
They were on time and professional! I was having fireplace checked to see if it could be used as a wood burning fireplace. They checked and recommended ventless logs. Very much appreciated their advice!
I called to have one chimney inspected in our 170 year old house, purchased a few years ago. We were investigating the potential of opening up a fireplace that had not been used for decades. These men were knowledgeable, courteous and professional as they advised us on the safest and most economical direction to persue. In the end, they advised and did not even charge for their service inspection. I would recommend them to anyone in need of chimney and fireplace inspection.
