When I moved to SC two years ago, the first doctor I looked for was a chiropractor who uses the Gonstead methodology. I went for my initial consult and in the follow up with the X-rays he said, I cannot correct the pain in your hip. No adjustment he could do would put the cartilage back. However, he could adjust the alignment of my back and hips. I knew he was the Dr for me, honest and patient focused. Two and a half years later, hip and knee joint replacements, I visit Dr Bishop for "maintenance". When you join his office, you will get to meet Kathryn who runs the front desk. She always has a smile and a can do attitude.

I have seen a few chiropractors over the years and Dr Bishop is the best. He has a special device that can pinpoint the exact area that needs to be adjusted and it has always been spot on with getting me back on my feet. I have called him a few times when i was in severe pain and he told me to come right in. I highly recommend him.

I wasn't sure about Dr Norman Bishop when I began to see him, because he does not use the machines like every chiropractor I had seen before, but I gave Dr Norman a shot at fixing my back pain. My back was in such disarray that I seldom felt like doing anything other than avoiding pain. I soon found out that Dr Norman's goal was to fix my terrible posture instead of merely relieving my symptoms. Dr Norman's style of chiropractic uses minimal adjustments based on your particular physiology rather than the one-size-fits-all type of machinations and adjustments I experienced at other chiropractors.
