All birds are Marek's and Coccidia vaccinated, NPIP Health Certified, and tested yearly for avian diseases. The pullets are dewormed and mite-free, and their sex is guaranteed. I just got six chicks from Brooke yesterday. They're happy, healthy, and thriving! Brooke was really nice and answered all of our first-timer-chicken-keeper questions. The chicks are settling nicely into their new home! Thank you for hatching such healthy chicks!!
Edit: we lost two chicks to FTT, and one of our Wyandottes is not up to breed standards. We also suspect we have a cockerel. But we still love the four we have, and do not regret!
This is THE place to get your chickens! My family brought home 6 pullets over the summer. We picked the child friendly option, and I was really glad to be able to tell Brooke about my family and have her pick the right breeds to match. You get what you pay for, and Brooke's prices are extremely fair considering the high quality, healthy birds she raises. Our ladies are happy, funny little birds that are extremely patient with kids and our dog, and they quickly bonded with us. When you get your chickens from Brooke, you know you are going to be getting top quality. I wouldn't go anywhere else; we are clients for life!
Looked for a local place to pick up chicks after having a not-so-great experience ordering chicks from one of the bigger hatcheries and picking up from USPS. My experience with Brooke and Koop’s coops was seamless. There was a great variety of chicks hatching to choose from and payment and pickup was super easy. All 6 of my chosen girls were super healthy upon pickup (in July) and are doing great!
