Received my sons pictures with cookie crumbs all over his mouth. Which usually wouldn’t be a big deal, but these pictures are so expensive. So I figured I’d reach out to the company, who than said that the retouching that I PAID EXTRA FOR, had been missed on his order. So that means if I didn’t express my concerns, they in a sense stole my money, because the product I paid extra for was never applied. Told me they’d fix it, and resend them to me. Received the “updated” ones, and they literally are the exact same. No touch ups. I know the job is just taking pictures, but these are memories of our children. We received a university yearbook on March 17th 2022 for the graduating year of 2021. We have no recollection of placing an order but as our child was graduating in May of 2022 we would not have wanted a yearbook from the previous graduating year. The parcel was misplaced and recently found so I attempted to reach out to Lifetouch. Today through the help center chat I have been informed that Lifetouch does not keep any yearbooks after 3 months from the order. How is that possible if we again received a yearbook in the in March of 2022 for class of 2021. I use to work for Lifetouch doing picture day. The job was okay but the company and snobby photographers make everything way more complicated than it is. You set up, take pics and go home but every job I've ever done, I gotta pose every kid like they're professional models... they're kids, out of 300 (elementary) or 1,000 (high school) kids, not every kid is gonna be "I'm getting a NYC corporate job" quality. I've been a professional photographer for 30 years and I have college-aged kids that never actually worked a camera telling me how to work a studio.
