Unfortunately this is yet another vet that has succumb to corporate greed. Since the change in management they have been nothing but money chasers.

When I asked to renew my cats standard medication this month they said they would NOT GIVE HIM his medication that he needs to take everyday to LIVE because he needed his “annual exam” . Keep in mind I had been to the vet 4 TIMES with my cat in the last 7 months. They stressed that those last 4 times they never did a physical exam on my cat (despite me providing receipts that I was charged for it). Receptionist had no compassion for my situation and even after the pharmacist got involved to apologize on her behalf and gave me the pills, she felt the need to voice her frustration and tell us off again.

This unoptional “annual exam” was not informed to me the previous time I picked up his pills to give me any time to plan for it. With the 3 + weeks it can take to plan a visit at this place I had no where to go.

I used to really like this place, but in recent years I felt like I was getting more pressure to have tests done that didn't seem necessary. Now I find out that they've been bought by Vet Strategy, a huge corporation that's been using shady business practices across the country. Suddenly all the unnecessary tests make sense.

These people are money grabbers who don’t care about your animals life. They just want money. My dog had to have an operation at the beginning of the year for her teeth, when I went in for it, I asked the vet if it would be possible while my 15 years old dog is asleep to also quickly cut and stitch (a procedure that took another vet about 10 minutes with my dog awake) a tumour that was on her foot. The vet assured me it would be done. It was not done and they expected me to pay AGAIN for another surgery to get it removed. This was absolutely gross behaviour. I do not recommend this vet. I’ll also mention the fact that we (my father and I) tried to go to the clinic to talk to the person in charge about our mistreatment and the lady acted like we were lying and was giving a pretty hostile attitude. She claimed that we did not bring her earlier (which one, we did right after the operation, twice, and two, that shouldn’t even matter because the whole point was that the vet didn’t do what she said she would do in the first place.) and that it was our fault because of that. When we mentioned we did, she said that there was no mention of it in the vets notes, which of course means we’re lying right? Because vets are all so honest right? Shame on you.

    Dishonesty for a hasty appointment…
Following an annual appointment which cost me nearly $409, I was told that I had to come back and have my dog vaccinated again for the vaccine to work and that it was only going to cost me $35. What was my surprise during the second vaccination to be charged $90 under the pretext of a change in procedures in the last month wanting to charge for a consultation. Consultation which took 3 minutes in the entrance of the clinic because there was no room available after 20 minutes late (10:30 a.m.)… So I was confirmed that next time, this type of appointment -was going to cost you $90…. Too bad, because the girls at reception are friendly and professional, but I won't go back there again... It's dishonest! If I hadn't said anything, I would have been billed as if nothing had happened...

Too expensive. Unfortunately it's a crossroads to find bargains that are so expensive for castration in a dog????
    And to review your response,
It's the addition of multiple sums for everything and nothing, $115 for an annual examination which is not necessary, it could be included during castration etc... traveling veterinarians and so on.
    Incredible fees
    In valleyfield 260 +70+15
$345 all inclusive you are bandits

I just visited the Vaudreuil Veterinary Clinic for vaccinations and a health check for my puppy, and I must say that my experience was extremely positive. Upon my arrival, I was warmly welcomed by the clinic staff, who showed true compassion and professionalism towards my pet.The veterinarian who took care of my puppy demonstrated remarkable expertise. He took the time to answer all my questions and explain the vaccination procedures and health check results to me in detail. I particularly appreciated her caring approach towards my puppy, as well as her ability to build trust, which helped to ease any concerns I may have had.Additionally, the clinic's facilities were spotless, clean and well-maintained, a testament to the team's high level of professionalism. In conclusion, I highly recommend Clinique Vétérinaire Vaudreuil to all pet owners. Their commitment to animal welfare and their caring approach make them a trusted establishment where we know that our four-legged companions are in good hands.
