All of the staff have been very kind, however, I wanted to share why I regret my purchase at this location. I bought a pair of glasses for my son. Of course, since his is 7, the glasses broke two times within a month of purchase. Although the warranty covers the replacement, the optician's hours are very limited. With availability of only 11am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday, this does not offer a long enough period of time for people working full-time or for children in school. The location is open in a mall, which has much longer hours of service than the optician is available. Had I realized this sooner, I would have shopped elsewhere. I don't know if the bad reviews are actually for this store because, I have nothing but good things to say about Laurier Optical in the mall at Promenade Gatineau. Very friendly and helpful staffs, very professionals and I couldn't believe how quickly my prescription glasses were ready. Highly recommended.I don't know if the bad reviews are really about this store, because I only have good things to say for Optique Laurier at the Promenade Gatineau shopping center. Merci énormément a toute l'équipe, une fois encore après plus de 25 ans vous m'avez surpris avec le choix d'une nouvelle monture et lentilles, je l'adore, merci énormément de m'avoir conseillé pour donner une deuxième vie a mes anciennes montures très belles récupérations pour une nouvelle utilisation et je suis très content qu'on est respecté mon budget Bravo
