Following up on review of Fred Martin. This person, FRANCIS FREDIN, is currently in prison, and still has my $10,000. See Lycoming County dockets. Lesson learned too late. Contractor number was not his, and expired. Paid deposit for metal roof, talks a great game. Put off installing roof for two months - loves to project blame back at customer - then went to state prison on drug charges (not the first time). Also, not a veteran. I am sure he will come out and start a new company so be careful. Also operates as PA Drywall Repair.BTW - Internet search found him leaving a bad review for another roofing company. Started new roof installation December 16th and has not been back since. Both phone numbers are no longer in service & no response from Facebook. Will update review if anything changes.Immediately after posting my review, Frank contacted me. I’ll update the review as the job progresses.We were contacted by Frank and worked out a few details on getting the job completed. I updated to 3 stars and will continue to document how things progress.

Quoted a price that is more than the value of the property. I sincerely hope people get multiple quotes and do their research so they don't pay over $15/sq ft for a metal roof. It is certainly this business' right to give very high quotes on small projects when they are busy and don't need the work but I don't appreciate it. It also required multiple attempts to get and verify the estimate due to errors on the quote.
