We have used Pine Street Carpenters & The Kitchen Studio for multiple projects in two homes that we have owned. Our most recent project was a large project that involved significant structural work to enable us to enlarge our kitchen and to construct a new mudroom entrance that incorporated a powder room and laundry area. The project went smoothly from start to finish and we could not be more happy with the quality of the work and the finished project. Any questions or concerns that we had received a quick response. A particular strength of Pine Street Carpenters is the work of the design team. Our designer was intimately involved during the entire project and we trusted her suggestions completely. As with any project an issue or two tends to pop up after the work is complete. In each instance Pine Street Carpenters took ownership and fixed the problem. Pine Street Carpenters is an extremely ethical company that takes pride in their work.

I’ve followed pine street carpenters for years on social media and dreamed of using them for a kitchen and bathroom remodel of my mother’s home some day. When it became clear we needed an environment where we could safely care for my mom in her home there was no one else I trusted with the home she’s lived in for 60 years. Pine street made the renovation as stress free and easy as I could have ever imagined. Everyone I came into contact with, from the first phone call and meeting with Dana, the owners who came all the way out for our little home renovation, project manager Jimmy, subcontractors and Peter who kept us updated on everything, were wonderful. We had an outstanding experience working with Pine Street Carpenters on our full kitchen remodel - taking the entire space down to the studs, moving walls, adding custom cabinetry, installing new appliances, and updating the surrounding areas. From the early planning phases through final completion, their communication, professionalism, and craftsmanship were exceptional.

A huge shoutout to Matilde, who was a total rockstar. She seamlessly filled multiple roles when needed, stayed responsive and helpful throughout, and made the entire process feel easy and supported. Sean and Justin were also incredible - hardworking, skilled, and trustworthy. Every crew member who came into our home was professional, respectful, punctual, and remarkably clean. They even fixed an unrelated plumbing issue in our basement during the project, which speaks to their commitment to service.

The design process was collaborative, creative, and fun. They were open to our evolving ideas, offered smart solutions, and brought creativity to the space. They stuck close to a tight timeline, something others have been shocked by given the scale of the renovation. Any cost changes were communicated clearly and only happened when we requested additional work.

As with any major renovation, we hit a few bumps near the end with project management, but they addressed those issues directly and professionally, ultimately going above and beyond to make things right.

Now that it’s finished, we are absolutely obsessed with our new kitchen. It’s stunning, functional, and everything we hoped for. Seeing our vision come to life has been amazing.

Even though our job was relatively small with patching/painting 8 ceiling holes due to water damage from the condo above us, Pine Street Carpenters showed that the little jobs are just as important as the bigger ones. Communication was great, work areas were always secured to prevent dust build up, and cleaned up at the end of the day. They also listened to my concerns and brought Eric in to fix the problem. Using Pine Street for our Kitchen/Laundry/Mudroom remodel was an obvious choice after shopping around other options - their expertise is clear upon the first meeting. Throughout the project they were communicative, professional, timely and helped us through every design and build decision - big and small. We lived in our house through the duration of the project, and they took special care to ensure the work area was clean and safe which was so important for us with young kids in the house. From start to finish our experience with Pine Street Carpenters was outstanding. We hired them for a kitchen remodel and they designed our entire house inside and out. Since it is a vacation house and hard to get to they priced everything out for us from bathroom materials to flooring and everything needed to do the entire project.
