Thanks to my exposure to Agent Orange in Vietnam, I had to have a bone marrow biopsy in December. Everything I read about this surgical procedure indicated there was often considerable pain when aspirating the marrow and taking a core sample. Dr. Charles Martin performed the procedure and I experienced absolutely no pain or even any slight discomfort. We even had a running conversation about the Philadelphia Eagles during the procedure. Most importantly, very good samples were obtained, making it possible for a correct diagnosis.
