Jen was so amazing with my son Cameron, he is 3 years old and autistic. We grew his hair out for the last two years, and I was a nervous wreck going in for his appointment because I didn't know how he was going to react. As soon as he saw Jen he lit up (which he doesn't do for anyone) walked right in and was immediately comfortable. He sat and played while she cut his hair. He didn't even notice till she was about done that she was cutting his hair. So grateful for her and how patient and caring she is ❤️.

I recently took my son age 6 who is also on the spectrum to get his hair cut by jen and I cant even put into words how thankful I am to have found her! My son does not tolerate hair cuts at all and we actually put it off for a little over a year and he grew some beautiful long curly locks but it was time to bite the bullet and cut. Jen was beyond patient, kind and understanding. She even cut his hair while he was sitting on the floor the whole time playing and when it came time to what we knew would be the hardest part (buzzers) she steped back to make him more comfortable and let me try to do the fitst few swipes to let someone he trusts do it first. Jen is so amazing with my little…. Yesterday she gave him a great cut despite the fact that he was roaming around the salon and crying pretty much the entire time… and Jen never makes us feel bad or puts pressure on our kiddo to cooperate... She just tries to find ways to make him feel more comfortable with the experience like putting Blippi on the television screen for him and sharing her mini Oreos. I really can’t say enough great things about her and the studio, we will be Puzzle Piece customers for life!!
