From Wounded Warrior Project
Wounded Warrior Project is a non profit organization for veterans. WWP offers a variety of veteran support programs and services, free of charge to warriors, families and caregivers. Our Pittsburgh, PA veteran support organization location's mission is to empower injured warriors who sustained a physical or mental injury, illness or wound on or after September 11, 2001. Wounded Warrior Project provides comprehensive support programs that are individually tailored around mental health (PTSD, TBI, MST) treatment and emotional support, physical health and wellness, peer support, VA benefits counseling and more. We direct every dollar, hour, and action toward serving wounded warriors – and we get results.
Shiny new office space is just outright nifty and the staff at WWP Pittsburgh is amazing. They've gone out of their way to help me and I consider them all friends. The support they offer is just incredible.
Would recommend to any service connected combat veteran! They may not be able to directly handle what you need but will certainly help get you on the right path. Because of this organization and their sub organization Warrior to Work I now have a new Job!
What an amazing organization! The staff here go above and beyond for veterans. They were so welcoming to our family when we moved to Pittsburgh. There is never any pressure & community events involve giving back to others. Thanks WWP for the Pittsburgh location, they are so important and vital to this region.
