This is one of the best gyms you could go to train at or drop into. It has good facilities great training partners and a laid-back atmosphere. The facilities include a very large matt area, central heating, multiple showers, separate bathrooms and locker rooms, a sauna, cryotherapy, And a more or less complete MMA training facility on the other side of the building so that the kickboxing classes can take place at the same time as the grappling classes. People at this gym understand more about wall wrestling than the average Bjj gym for sure. Awesome place to visit. Even the killers are welcome and have good vibes. The owner was very accommodating and friendly. If you're in the Pittsburgh area, this is a must visit.
Top notch, went there under a recommendation form a training partner who used to train at Stout. I have been training for approximately for seven years. Right from the beginning the atmosphere was of one I know I would enjoy. When I walked in the owner, Warren came right over to me with a huge smile and asked if I wanted to train. Although class had already started, he led me to beginner class (only class I could take with my schedule) with an instructor Dan. Dan has a knack for teaching, leading class with just enough detail to get the concept/technique and not overwhelm his students with to much detail, due to the class being a beginner class.
