Efficient and relatively easy but kinda dystopian… staff at the front ignore you, you scan a QR code and in the appt itself is just “sit here” “hold your hand out” it feels like you’re being held at arms length and kicked out asap in fear of your “sickness” (even tho I was completely healthy and just going for a vital check)

BRAND New building and equipment! The staff here are actually really friendly and nice. I called in the morning of and was able to get an appointment within an hour, and get my insurance cleared over the phone. The PA that treated me, Lauren, is super helpful in diagnosing and explaining everything.

Useless. Want to get a refill? Even if you wait months for a specialist's appointment at UPMC, they won't give it. They deny care to students in need. Go there for the stomach flu and walk out, having said you need to have a bowel movement.

Cold and extremely unkind to students. 9/10 times contacting UHS is a waste of time and energy.

Everyone is super sweet. My nurse or MA I’m not totally sure but Rumi was her name, she is so sweet and so professional and made me feel really at ease. Also Annette, very knowledgeable and kind.

They are fine for some things (students, get your flu shot), but if you need, like, actual medical care related to an ongoing condition (even if it's something as seemingly basic as trying to find a birth control pill that works for you), go somewhere else. The staff at UHS are not specialists and don't seem equipped to handle a lot of issues. To be fair, as others have pointed out, this isn't really their fault. The facility is underfunded and understaffed, and they can only do so much.
