Handyman on the Hill tackled an extensive repair of my 1925 porch pillars, railings, and ceiling. John rebuilt several pillars and facings, and refurbished those less damaged by a roof leak (repaired beforehand). He also repainted the porch and hung a new light fixture. I think the finished product looks great, and many neighbors have complimented me on the porch improvements. I first hired John to repair some water damage in a 100 year old row home rental property. He was able to thoroughly assess the damage and make the repairs accordingly. John was great about working around my tenant's schedule and being respectful of their home. Unlike some help I've used in the past John was extremely responsive and communicative throughout the project. I am very pleased with his work and his pricing and I wouldn't call anyone else for future repairs.Services: Paint indoors

I reached out to John to help with a pretty complex project with a trap door. John discussed some options with me which helped me troubleshoot the problem. Ultimately I did not end up hiring John because timing didn’t work out but I was very thankful that he was willing to discuss the job with me and offer advice. Will certainly be contacting John for future needs.
