My daughter (3) had her first ever haircut with Shannon and she was absolutely wonderful. Was very gentle and made what could be a scary first experience extremely comfortable. The haircut turned out fabulous and she even gave her an "Elsa Braid" at the end. Couldn't recommend more! We're so lucky to have this neighborhood spot.

My stylist for many years needed to take a break from the salon. I decided to give Halo a try. Great experience from beginning to end!My service began exactly at my appointment time. Mawiyah asked me questions so she had some background on my hair and scalp. Asked if I was tender headed, etc. She gave a really good thorough wash and sectioned my hair to get a thorough blow dry. She even offered to trim my ends. Then she pressed my hair out and gave me a few bouncy curls.Mawiyah did an excellent job! My hair has a lot of body and a great gloss! I'm all natural by the way. Will definitely be going back!

Literally life changing and life affirming. I came in a few months ago to get all my hair chopped off and Shannon was a literal dream. Shannon also dyed my hair a few weeks later. You wish I had infinite hair and money so I could hang with Shannon and the HK people daily.
