Prices are out of control. DO NOT recommend. They used to be reasonably priced many years ago, but now its just shy of $700 for a routine dog checkup visit. Did they get purchased by a PE firm pushing these insulting prices?

The prices are very high, and they charge you for an exam every time you go. I took my cats in for vaccinations, and three weeks later they had to go back for a booster shot. This is just a way to get more money out of you, and then they did the same exam they had done three weeks earlier, again, just to charge you more. They always find ways to charge you extra for unnecessary things.

I’ve been going to Companion for almost 2 years and am always blown away with how kind and amazing the staff are. They take time to explain what’s going on and never make me feel bad for asking so many questions.

I cannot in good conscience recommend this vet practice to anyone in the current economic climate. I’ve been going here for maybe 8 years, and prices have just gotten completely out of control since the pandemic but especially in the last 2 years. The care and staff are great, but we cannot afford to keep taking our pets here. It’s a shame because we live so close and we want to support local businesses in our neighborhood, but routine visits shouldn’t cost over $500 for a single cat. Additionally, to get 2 male kittens fixed we were quoted between $900-1,500 total for the procedures. We ended up taking them to PAWS for $150 total instead.
We want the best care for our animals but can’t help but feel a little taken advantage of. We will sadly be taking our cats elsewhere moving forward.

They went above and beyond. They also have a small parking.

We take our cats and our very needy dog here and have for years. Companion has always been stellar - my dog is a large (anxious) breed and struggles with vet visits. Companion is always so kind and comes up with creative and flexible solutions to help him when he isn't feeling well. I recently moved out of Philly and Companion was still my go to vet because of how they great they are.

I've been taking my cat to Companion Pet Hospital for about 4 years now and everyone - the staff, techs, doctors and groomers - has always been great. They go above and beyond to inquire about and follow up on my cat's health and comfort, they're very thorough in conducting exams, and have shared a lot of helpful advice for his care. My cat has done well under their care, and I definitely recommend CPH.

Companion has been helping me deal with some recurring issues with my pet. Every time they have gone above and beyond, always check in the next day, and make sure I have all of the information needed. I haven’t had a bad experience yet and we have seen multiple front desk assistants, techs, and doctors (all have been amazing)!
