My homes Pine Wood Floors needed some repair including board replacement, patching cracks in boards, and holes from floor knots. Steve and the guys from Artisan provided an excellent service and ensured care to my home and belongings in the process. The job exceeded my expectations and many have commented that the wood floors look brand new. I would recommend talking to Artisan Wood Floors if needing any wood floor repairs.

I struck gold when I found Artisan Wood Floors and Steve. He was immediately responsive, honest, detailed and takes his work and your home very seriously. The quality of the work, the constant communication, the daily check in and reviews made the process itself very pleasant and the end result spectacular. His craftsman Bill and Rick were so reliable and wonderful with our dog. There was a true appreciation of how disruptive the process is and they were so thoughtful about the timing of when things would be done so we could arrange our household accordingly. You are not saving money by using anyone less expensive. His prices is fair and comprehensive. Can't say enough about this company.

If you demand perfection in your home and you’re willing to wait for the best, Steve at Artisan Floors is well worth the wait. A pipe burst on the top floor of our 4-story walkup in Philly, causing significant damage to our beautiful 1963 vintage red oak floors, as well as a room of engineered wood from a more recent renovation. Boards throughout the home were buckled, discolored, and warped. Steve searched for and located flooring that blended well with the exiting floors, and meticulously repaired and re-stained the floors to create a seamless appearance. Each day, I received information on when the workers arrived and when they left, including photos of the progress. At the end of each day, the house was left in good order. By the time the work was finished, we could not distinguish the engineered flooring from the vintage solid wood flooring. Steve was a bigger critic of his own work than we were, and he made sure that we were completely satisfied before leaving the job. Over the years we have had the opportunity to use many contractors on jobs large and small, and there has seldom been a case on a large job that we didn’t discover minor problems with the work. In this case, when we later discovered a couple of minor problems with the finished product, Steve passed our test for a great contractor, which is to return promptly and without complaint to correct the problems. So, if you are looking for a top-quality hardwood expert, you can be assured that your experience with everyone at Artisan, and the finished product will justify your patience and your investment.

Steve and his team did an excellent job refinishing our parquet floor. He and his team are superprofessional - they were always on time and they respected our home. I also liked how clear communication was - some contractors go silent or make decisions for you without your input but Steve always explained the process and got our input. I have no hesitation recommending Artisan Wood Floors.

Steve and his team helped us refinish our old pine floors in a more natural color, and the floors look great! The team also filled gaps in the floors, replaced boards that very closely match the originals, and stained some mismatched boards so well I can’t tell them apart. The team is professional and reliable, and Steve is knowledgeable and communicates well throughout the process.
