My husband and I scheduled 2 back to back appointments so we could go together.
I really enjoyed the technician, Evan. He had clear instructions with all the tests and made the process easy. The issue I have is with America Best utilizing a remote appointment system for the Dr exam.
When we were informed it was a remote exam, I thought it would be quick and the meeting is with a virtual doctor. I was never warned it could take 2hrs or more to be seen by a doctor for the exam.
The reality of a remote exam is our tests are done efficiently but then you are forced to wait until a virtual doctor can see you, which takes hours. America's Best should honestly remove this option its not convenient to patients. We ended up leaving because we had plans and couldn't wait any longer to be seen.
We rescheduled our appointment for the following week for an in-person exam. When we arrived, we were informed someone threw out our test results and they needed to be recompleted. As a result, the tests had to be recompleted. I don't understand why these results were not kept when we scheduled an appointment for the following week. You are telling me you couldn't hold on to our tests for a week or have them digitally saved?
The doctor was nice but waiting to be seen took an hour. We then had to wait an additional 30+minutes to checkout an leave. Between the 2 appointments for a routine eye exam it took 4 hours, which is ridiculous.
Due to our poor experience, my husband and I will be looking for a new eye doctor since I don't have the time or the patient to do this again. Also, I have recommended others to avoid this location.

Thank you Linda for your help today! The staff here is knowledgeable and kind - I’ve purchased 3-4 pairs from here and have had a good experience. They also have helped continue to adjust my new glasses over the course of a few weeks to make sure they fit just right!
