My son, age 6, started karate a few months ago. We love it! Action Karate focuses on critical thinking, compassion, and being healthy through movement, structure and discipline. My son has shown vast improvement in focusing and listening. He adores all of his instructors and has fun! It is a very welcoming and inclusive community for everyone. We are so happy we chose to join!
We love action karate.. the discipline, motivation, positive reinforcement and involvement is exceptional. After seeing action, karate come to the schools and had a few events we popped in for a trial week and have never looked back, I myself have even taken class and loved it as an adult. It’s great as a family activity and especially for my high energy son..
We’ve had such an amazing experience at in Action Karate South Philly! When my 7-year-old first started, he was really shy and hesitant to participate. But thanks to the incredible support and encouragement from Mr. Fernandez and Mr. Ryan, he has completely come out of his shell.
Now he’s one of the first kids to volunteer in class and loves showing off everything he’s learned. It’s been so rewarding to watch his confidence grow week after week. The instructors truly care about the kids and create such a positive, motivating environment.
