Horrible don't go to McVay they jack up the price once they get to your house and then they take your $70 and they don't do the work that they promised to do... You can get it 50% cheaper using Jake's Plumbing in Penn Hills.... Stay clear of McVay...it'll bomb you...

Can’t say enough wonderful things about this company! My furnace went sometime late Friday night and they were at my house Saturday morning at 9am discovered problem immediately got it working again but part needed replaced ( the sound it made was indication enough) - older furnace- cheaper to just buy a new one and they bought new heaters at Home Depot incase the part gave out before installation of new furnace which was to be Tuesday but got a text Sunday that they would be here at 8am on Monday. Everyone was super nice and understanding add customer service was AWESOME! Installation was quick and they did a beautiful job!

Chuck was a great technician, who was patient to figure out what the exact problems we were experiencing, and diagnosing it all properly. He gave me all my options, and the repair work was done in an appropriate amount of time. I know I'll need help again with my home systems, and I'll most likely call McVay

On 5/14/26 we had a new furnace and air conditioner installed in our home. Alex Illig and Blake White were the two installers. They covered up the floors to keep carpets clean and removed the old equipment and hauled it away. The new furnace and A/C units were installed neatly and professionally. Alex and Blake both explained how the new system worked with the new wi-fi thermostat that was also installed. They cleaned up when finished and left our house as though they were never here. As new customers of McVay, we couldn't be happier with their services.

I had an HVAC system installed and various plumbing requests completed by this company. The HVAC work was a complete system, the unit, ducts, etc. The installation went smoothly and the system works well. Pricing was good. The plumbing work I requested did not go well. I was continually lied to by their representatives. Two small jobs were completed, but getting it done was a nightmare of repeatedly calling their office and requesting updates on when and how the work would be done. In another instance I eventually gave up and just opted to use another company for a major plumbing install and mcvay lost the $22,000 contract. I've finally resolved to never, under any circumstances, to use mcvay again for plumbing.
