Had my pup groomed and he looks great abd they were accommodating when I had to pick him up later than expected. The groomers seem care for every dog like their own!

Been going here for years but after my babies last stay I won't ever recommend this kennel to anyone. The morning of the day we were picking them up I left a message to let them know we would be back much sooner than expected. Only because of that message I left they called me within the next hour to tell me that my poor girl hasn't been doing well. 5 days and no one could have called me?!?!? We rushed back as fast as we could, got there at noon on the dot. During checkout, knowing the condition my poor baby was in, the girl had the audacity to tell me they weren't going to charge for the day cause we were only a few minutes late. Are you kidding me??? I should have told her off but my only focus was getting my baby out of there so I instead thanked her like an idiot. The second they realized something wasn't right their first action should have been TO CALL ME! Yet they only called when I left a message about being there sooner than planned. Seriously screw this place.
In response to the owners response...
They reported to me on their returned call that she started not standing on her own but would stand when they helped her. For context, she was standing/walking perfectly fine the day we dropped her off. 1st chance they could have called. Then they said she suddenly stopped standing/had zero mobility. 2nd chance they could have called. Again, we only received a call because of the message I left about getting there early. The second she started having issues WE SHOULD HAVE BEEN CALLED ABOUT IT. Yes, we knew the kennel was a bit hard on her but she always bounced back after a couple days and NEVER had she ever had the inability to stand herself up or completely lost her ability to move, there or when we brought her home. Now its over 2 weeks later and because her medical care was delayed she may not recover. If we were notified LIKE WE SHOULD HAVE BEEN we would have made the decision to come get her to get her the medical care she needed immediately. The days her health started deteriorating were pertinent to preventing/deterring further progression of her condition. COMMON COURTESY would have been to take 1 minute to dial my number to inform us of her negative changes when they were noticed in the first place.

**Update** Ozzy had a wonderful stay! we are so pleased.. also had him groomed and he looks and smells amazing! ---- we toured today and are so excited to have our Ozzy stay here! all our questions were answered and you can feel the love for the animals staying with them. absolutely a beautiful resort!

I highly recommend this place! I went on vacation for 2 weeks while my dog stayed with them for the time being. The girls are amazing there. My dog was well taken care of and I am so thankful for them!
