I got progressive sunglasses and the quality is excellent — the transition between distances is smooth and clear. Pricing was fair with no upselling pressure. Optical shop is not just an eyewear shop but a total experience. Sergio is extremely knowledgeable about not only glasses but the entire industry. He is personable and a master storyteller. His personality is genuine and he makes the shopping trip enjoyable. We will be definitely make this our go to destination. A hidden gem in New Hope for sure!

My dad walked into the shop a year ago to browse for a pair of sunglasses but didn’t buy but, walked away with the promise to come back. Well yesterday he walked in to buy and the owner Sergio remembered him from last time! As he was searching Sergio was very informative, friendly and professional giving us a one on one service with not only my dad but my mom as well! It’s much better during the week because you can get the one on one service. We spent half hour to maybe 45 minutes before my dad chose a pair of glasses. My dad would definitely come back in the future.

I have been wearing glasses for close to 30 years since I was a young child - had the best experience picking frames and lenses at New Hope Optical. As many of the other reviews here have echoed, the owner Sergio is simply a tremendous wealth of knowledge. Knows the history and precise details of every frame in his shop, has inventory of unique frames (such as Matsuda) not found in other stores. For my high degree of myopia, he did a fantastic job selecting an excellent Zeiss lens. The quality of the lenses here are far better than what would be found at any other chain optical eyeglass store.
He spent more than one hour of his time with me and he even stayed half an hour past the shop's closing time. Sergio is extremely passionate about his job and very attentive to details (even going as far to make sure my selected frame did not have my eyelashes brushing against it). I drove more than an hour to come here and it was more than well worth my time. Will definitely come back here the next time I need new glasses.

The shop has a wonderful selection—from high-end designer frames to more affordable options—so there’s something for everyone. Everything was beautifully displayed, and the store was clean, bright, and inviting.

Decided to visit new hope today and came across this wonderful sunglass/optical store. The owners are very friendly and inviting. I loved that they were not pushy and when suggesting frames you did not like they wouldn’t insist like most sales people do or give you the good old “but these would look great on you”. I ended up purchasing two pairs of sunglasses a fendi and a chloe. I actually purchased one pair first then went back same day since they were still open to get my second pair! Since covid-19 is still a thing the store owner would disinfect all lenses before and after trying on. I’m so glad I found this store and I will definitely be a repeat customer! Super friendly, great selection and excellent prices ❤
