Very nice, caring, and good-hearted people. I recently had to put my beautiful boy Spartan down, and it was extremely hard to say the least. Everyone here was very respectful and kind, and did the best they could to give me some time with him in his final moments. I'm crying as I'm writing this because it still hurts so badly I loved that dog SO MUCH, and although there was nothing that could really be done, it helped at least a little knowing that they let me be with him when it happened. I want to say thank you to the staff and doctors for everything. Although I wish the outcome was different, there was nothing more these people could've done. They helped me allow him to pass and end his suffering as humanely as possible. Thanks to Shawn, DaShawn, Bianca, Hunter, Stacie and Shogan for the card and everything else. I really appreciate it

Don’t bother going here anymore. All but 1 Dr left, most are relief. Most staff left, they don’t even have a practice manager anymore. This place is owned by a corp that only cares about investments. Privately owned practices are your best bet. It will only get worse from here

Excellent vet. Was able to see our dog as a new patient (when visiting family in NJ) on a Saturday with very short notice. Excellent caring staff with onsite lab who promptly helped our dog in spite of her somewhat complicated history. Highly recommmend Dr. Austin and her staff.

Been using NHVH for the last year. Up until today I've only had positive experiences with my 4 dogs. My almost 14 year old Labrador has an ear issue that we were told requires surgery. Unfortunately we were not made aware of all the treatment options available. When my dog was diagnosed, we were told by Dr. JESSICA AUSTIN, that there were only 2 options for treatment. One was drainage ( I won't get into the details for people with a weak constitution) and the other was surgery. On the day of the surgery, my dogs bloodwork came back with concerning results. We were told that it was risky for an older dog who is slightly anemic to be sedated. This is when I learned about another option besides surgery. DR. Amanda Straining is the one you want to request when visiting NHVH. She is incredibly honest and explained that there was another option that did not require surgery and only costs a small fraction of what the surgery estimate was. Needless to say I was very upset that we were not told this by Dr. Jessica Austin. We were told that my dog needed surgery that could cost up to $4000.00. I can't speak to why we weren't told about this alternative option. All I can say is that it seems Dr. Austin is more motivated by $ rather than doing the right thing. It makes me concerned and upset that Dr. Austin was ok with putting a very old dog under anesthesia when an alternative treatment was available. Bottom line... Ask for Dr.Struening and run the other way if by chance you get Dr.Austin. This is the last place I ever thought I would review. I am a huge dog lover and we treat ours like family because that's what they are. When things like this happen, Ive learned to not be silent. I hope this review helps.

I have been a patient for years. As I was waiting for bloodwork for my dog. They called the police on me and said I was publicly drunk or intoxicated because I had had bloodshot eyes. I had just gotten off the phone after a breakup. Not only did they quote an outrageous amount to neuter my dog they contacted the police stating I was drunk or under the influence. It was 2:30 on a weekday after leaving work. I had to go to go to court and the vet did not show up to court to testify. Why would you treat a customer this way? I was appalled.
I was put on hold for an hour for records to transfer to another vet. I have never been treated with disrespect in my life. They also were not going to to return my dog and took them in the back which was dramatic for him. I myself do not drink regularly. I am going to contact the better business bureau and report them. I would highly advice to use an another vet. I would recommend Chalfont Vet Clinic. They have been the best and did a great job caring for my pet. I would highly advise using another vet. On top of that they charged for services for a dog that was deceased for over a year and services were not rendered.

Rude people answering the phone. Poor customer service. Tried to speak to an office manager and was told she wasn't available.

Yesterday I walked in with a very sick little kitten (Baby Boo but I’ve started calling him Gollum) and the staff was so amazing. Everyone from the front desk lady to the doctor were so sweet and help full. They got the little guy back and cleaned up so quickly. He’s already looking better. Gollum and I are so thankful. I highly recommend NHVH
