I bring all 4 of my kids here. We usually see heather. The staff is wonderful. Always friendly. Always complimenting my kids behaviors and hair styles we choose. Clean, smells nice and always gets us in. Heather does a great job!!

Every time I go here I never leave feeling good in my haircut or style. Usually I leave with my hair frizzy and not blown out properly. However, today I got my hair done and I asked for my hair to be completely cut the same length across the bottom. As I have been growing out layers for the past year. However, I ended up leaving with my front pieces cut shorter and layers within my hair. Throughout the haircut I didn’t want to say anything, as the person cutting my hair is a professional and I don’t know the first thing about this. Clearly I should’ve. The haircut is nice and she did a great job but this is just the exact opposite of what I asked for. A before and after is attached.

Got a great spiral perm today by Ivy. Alexis helped in between stages while Ivy tended to other customers qas needed.. Ivy is super professional and clearly loves her work. Alexis was the sweetest. Very helpful and knowledgeable about the stages of the perm. Very happy with my hair. Husband loves it. ? I recommend Design Works with Dawn & Ivy in Mountaintop to anyone.

i never write reviews, but everyone needs to be warned about this place. the worse experience i have EVER had at a hair salon. i went in a few months ago because i had heardsuch great things about this place, so i decided to try it out. i wanted to go completely platinum blonde on my entire head. i was there for 6 hours and they charged me 200$ for NOTHING. my hair looked exactly the same except for a white skunk stripe underneath (picture attached). on top of it all, my hair was extremely damaged from the process and looked exactly the same other than the stripe. i decided to go back and ask them to fix it considering it was not what i wanted at all and they barley did anything close to what i asked for. told them i needed this fixed. i should’ve been offered a refund and i also should have gone to someone else to fix it, but instead i was offered no refund and i gave them a second chance. big mistake. these people tried to foil my hair to fix the mess they made underneath, failed miserably, and CHARGED ME AGAIN another for what they “fixed”! what a joke.

I was thrilled with the cut and style Page did for me. I got an appointment quickly and asked Page for the "wolf cut". It's like she read my mind. The parking is easy and the atmosphere is relaxed. I definitely recommend.
