Todd and Troy are absolutely amazing. Yes they are called hardwood floors of Lancaster, but they also have this really great product called ez plank that is the nicest luxury vinyl plank flooring I’ve ever installed. It feels great on the feet has some cushion and is reasonably priced for the quality. If you’re hiring a contractor to install it…they will love you, but it is so easy I guarantee you can do it yourself if you can measure and use a box cutter. If you’re already stopping at the big box store right near by, stop by here too, you won’t be disappointed with this stuff, or the staff.

We can't recommend Hardwood Floors of Lancaster enough! They sanded and refinished all the floors in our new farmhouse, and their attention to detail was outstanding. This was a tremendous amount of work, but they handled it with incredible ease and care. We also chose the LED-cured finish, which was a fantastic decision as it allowed us to move furniture in sooner and makes future touch-ups simple. We highly recommend Hardwood Floors of Lancaster!

I purchased my hardwood floors for my house from here and loved this place. I absolutely love the floors I purchased and their prices were awesome. Also, they had so much selection that I simply hadn't found elsewhere and I had been searching for soo long. They were patient with me and worked with me and within my price point. I wish I had them install all my flooring, but the reason I didn't/couldn't had nothing to do with this place or their pricing. They did, however, help me out and install my stair treads after other issues arose with the guy that was supposed to install them. This place did a wonderful job on the stair tread installation. Additionally, not something I can fully explain, but I just felt comfortable there every time I went while deciding on the flooring and throughout the process. All the guys were great. They're honest people who do right by their customers, and you'll probably instinctively know that after being there and meeting them. This place is s true gem. I couldn't recommend this place any higher.

Tom, Troy and Todd are among the most knowledgeable I’ve come across. They have a very wide selection of High quality materials. If you’re a refinish contractor, ask them about their Vesting LED cured hard wax oil. It is a game changer.

Disappointed in ResultsAt first, I was very impressed and pleased with how quickly Troy was able to meet with me and schedule his team to get the floors refinished at our new home. I was very thankful that he and his team fit us in their tight schedule right away, but I was disappointed in the results. When I saw the finished product, I thought it was still in the works since the guys left behind a few of their items (rags, flip flops, strips of shoe molding) and Troy mentioned he would leave a roll of paper for me to lay on the floor in order that I could finish some house painting) but did not.The floors look unfinished (don’t see a Satin finish per the contract and visitors say the same)- there is no “shine”. I specifically mentioned that our hardwood floors were missing “shine” when I first called and they gave it a satin finish. When I called to express my disappointment, I was told it would be an extra $900.00 (after having already over $4500.00) for them to add a semi gloss. Just make sure you read the contract carefully and communicate clear expectations if you go with this company. For someone like me that is not familiar with hardwood floor terminology, “shine” was not a clear term to the team and I did not catch “satin” on the contract. Overall, I am disappointed in the results and all of the wood dust left on the floor and window frames (additionally, the shoe molding in one of the rooms was left loose). Although they offered to try and squeeze me in their schedule to add the semigloss for an extra $900.00, this was not an option given the time frame of my apartment lease and having to move into our new home (which was communicated to them at the start of the job).

I got multiple quotes and theirs was the best. Troy helped me select a wood flooring that was a perfect match to existing wood floors in the adjacent room. Jon, the installer, did a fantastic job! I was very pleased with the whole experience. Would definitely recommend.
