I buy an oriental rug from Essis/Lancaster whenever I am looking for an oriental rug and I am never disappointed in finding just the design and the quality that I am searching. I very recently found another area rug with a wonderful motif that was not the usual and I love it more every day.

Customer service was great! John and Theodore were very helpful with choosing an area that would work in our home. Prices were reasonable for high quality rugs. Definitely recommend this place when shopping for floor coverings

We were shopping for new area rugs and we are glad we found Essis's. Friendly staff and plenty of choices. Don't bother going anywhere else, Essis's is the best! They go above and beyond to make you happy.

Worst customer service experience ever.I took two area rugs in to be cleaned. The first time I cam back to pick them up they were not ready. They second time I came back they could not find them? They then refused to refund the cost of cleaning the rugs or the cost of the rugs themselves. They said "it was not their problem". I guess this is the kind of customer service you get from people just out of drug rehab? Now I have to go to District Court and sue them to recover the cost of cleaning plus the two rugs that are gone. As a parent I can definitely say that I would not want any of these creeps working in my home. Especially, if you have small children or any items of value that can be easily pawned. I give them an "F" for customer service.

I searched for wool carpet at another store, prior to going to Essis & Sons. The choices were so limited and the cost was outrageous. I went to Essis & Sons and found so much to choose from in a range of prices. After making my choice, a store employee came to my home to be sure the carpet color matched what I needed.
From start to finish, my experience with Essis & Sons was very positive. Their team of installers were quite thorough and respectful. I've never seen installers who work non-stop without taking breaks. They were so careful moving and returning my furniture to their places. They cleaned up so well and even cut remnants for me.
Prior to my carpet installation, Essis & Sons replaced my bathroom floor with tile. Again, they did a wonderful job.
Please don't hesitate to go to Essis & Sons. The owner and employees are quite friendly and personable. They welcome you with the best spring water that I've tasted in a very long time.
I will not hesitate to return to Essis & Sons for all of my flooring needs. You shouldn't either!

Excellent customer service. I needed a special order of tile asap, and Tina at Essis and Sons delivered. She stayed on top of the order, communicated its status with me, and picked it up herself to get it to me as quickly as possible. I’ll definitely shop here again.

Had a floor installed and a year later in failed to our dismay. Called Tina, and she sent someone to check it out. Ended up to be a manufacturing defect. She ordered new material and when it arrived installed it at no cost. Looks amazing now. They truly back up their products. Customer forever. Paul H

This is a carpet shopping extravaganza as the showroom is incredibly large. I can't imagine another place having more to choose from for flooring needs, not just for carpet, which is why I stopped in.
I was most impressed with the help I received for choosing a carpet. I was shown several samples along with different paddings. I was even encouraged to stand on the samples to get an idea of how the installed carpet would feel.
In the end, I feel I made an informed decision about the carpet and padding that fits my budget and preferences.
I have no desire to look elsewhere for my future flooring needs. Highly recommend Essis & Sons.

Tina and Steve were absolutely fabulous to work with during a very stressful period after a flooding accident in my home. The flooring installers (Tim and his Dad);were very skilled at flooring installation and always quick to understand my requirements. Very helpful during the repairs. All floors in my home have been bought and installed by Essis and Sons of Lancaster over past 12 years. Always a smooth and happy experience. David
