I would highly recommend Kutztown Martial Arts to anyone looking to train in Jiu Jitsu! Sensei has been an awesome teacher and mentor! I started taking classes a few months ago. I have felt myself grown and learned so much not only about the art but about who I am. To anyone even thinking about it, do it!! I promise you that you'll have fun and learn a thing or two ?
My son and his sister have been attending here for over a year and it has been a wonderful experience. Sensei Jeremy is patient with the kids while instilling self-discipline, self-respect, and confidence. Miles and Mr. Mark are also are great instructors and take great care when addressing and teaching the children.They have fun while learning, not only ju-jitsu but also life skills that will stay with them into their adulthood. The students in the class work as a team to help each other achieve the mental and physical discipline that is necessary to learn a martial art. 5 Stars all the way!!!
My daughter has been coming here since she was 6. She is now 9 and she still gets excited to go to class. She absolutely loves it. Jeremy is awesome. He is great with the kids and makes every class fun for them. I love that the payments are month by month so if you have kids that like to do different sports throughout the year you are able to stop at anytime. It is a great “in between” sports activity for the kids to do. Also if your child has to miss a few months for sports they will not fall behind. Jeremy is always teaching them new moves while also keeping it simple for them to learn if they are just starting for the first time or returning after a while.
