After going to Marissa for a first time appointment, I walked away feeling so happy with the results. Being blonde can be a tough journey and it often feels hard to get things quite right! Marissa did such a beautiful job on my hair and talked me through a plan of keeping the desired tone and look I wanted. She did a great job on balancing something low maintenance, while still keeping brightness throughout.
I also loved her blow out and styling - it looked great and stayed for days. I feel safe in her hands and am looking forward to going back for the next refresh when needed!
Marissa is incredibly talented, and I highly recommend her for any of your hair needs! I never quite know what I want to do with my hair, but she always finds a way to make me feel confident in my hair. I have very thin hair, and I’ve always been insecure about hair volume (or lack there of), and Marissa gives great recommendations of products, and styles my hair in a way that makes me feel SO good about my hair!Not only is she talented and professional, but she creates an atmosphere in her salon where you feel instantly welcomed, inspired, and empowered. Marissa, the owner of Emerald & Ivy, is truly a gem. She is great at what she does, and is very knowledgeable about her craft. It is rare to find someone so talented at both color and cut. The fact that she does what she does using healthier safer products is an added bonus. On top of her being great at what she does, she is also a wonderful person. I truly enjoy going to her salon and look forward to our conversations. I feel lucky to have met Marissa and fortunate to be her client.
