I have been going to Reeds since they opened in Green Lane, and I would highly recommend them for their friendliness, quality, professionalism, and—most of all—the environment they create for their customers and families. This is a great place to take a kid for a first haircut, but also for a guy in his 80s, too. They treat everyone with respect, and are the kinds of dudes you are happy to have interact with your youngster. (I know because I did.) If you're in the area, you should definitely stop by. You don't have to get a haircut to have a good time and it's okay to come in and stare at stuff; they're used to that. Check out the general store next door as well.

Cody was WONDERFUL with our 18m old son’s 1st hair cut! patience, knowledge and kindness is an understatement. the atmosphere is very cool too! leather seats, old school vibe in a modern clean environment. very cute certificate for our baby’s first hair cut! my husband has been going to Cody since we moved to this area for almost two years now. we will definitely be returning for all future haircuts.
