I joined this school last month and I could not be happier. The tutelage of Sifu Seth and Assistant Instructor Jasper embodies the power and practicality of Wing Chun. I have been thoroughly impressed with how effective the techniques are no matter your physical build. Both teachers are attentive, analytical, personable, and professional. They have created a welcoming environment which gives back as much as you put into it. I feel like my training is simultaneously personal and communal. It is rare to find two instructors who put the amount of energy and attention into each class as these two do. The student body itself is another incredible highlight. Egos are checked at the door and it feels more like a family than a student body. We each learn from one another, but under the watchful eye of both Sifu Seth and Assistant Instructor Jasper. I enjoy working with everybody there and they make class as fun and exhausting as it should be. I have studied Aikido for most of my life and wanted to branch out into another martial art. I am glad that I chose to try out this school and I cannot recommend both this school and the art highly enough. If you have been considering a martial art for personal safety, self improvement, improving competition performance, or any other reason you should come check this school out. Check out the website [ ] for more information about class times.

I have observed Seth Eisman with his students, he is extremely knowledgeable and patient. He gets actively involved in every single class and is focused on developing his students to allow them to achieve the highest level possible. I would highly recommend!

From Traditional Wing Chun Philadelphia

Traditional Wing Chun optimizes the flowing angular movements of kung fu animal systems in order to operate effectively in close quarters combat, where the vast majority of real world altercations are experienced. Wing Chun develops efficient footwork, contact reflexes, close range striking power, leverage, speed & accuracy. This enables people from all abilities to learn, grow and adapt with improved confidence. This specific system of Wing Chun is taught by Sifu Jasper Silvis, current student of Sigong Joseph Sayah and former student of Master Keith Mazza. Both Masters Sayah and Mazza are students of Grandmaster William Cheung, a direct disciple of Ip Man. Traditional Wing Chun follows the Leung Bik lineage (Ip Man's second teacher).
