I had tried a very different style of yoga at Sun Dog Yoga Studio for one of their Foundations of Yin Workshops.Yin Yoga is a meditation based slow-paced style of yoga where “postures are held for more extended periods- anywhere from one to five minutes.”I have tried so many different styles of workouts, and to be honest, yoga isn’t one of my favorites because I have such a hard time shutting my brain off and think of all the things I need to be doing. Extremely knowledgeable and personable teachers that know the correct way to perform the moves, and actively assist you as you go. They always offer alternative moves, and take the time to make sure each student is getting the best possible experience and benefit. A+

There are so many reasons to LOVE Sun Dog Yoga Studio. The space is beautiful, inviting and peaceful. The moment you walk in, Sun Dog engages your senses with warm light, ambient music, the sound of flowing water and just enough nag champa incense. The feeling of calm begins before you even start to practice. I've taken the Astanga foundations class with Shari and cannot express how thankful I am. She is so kind, clear with her instruction and truly eased my anxiety about trying yoga again for the first time in many years. This magical space and the supportive, knowledgeable people in it helped me rediscover yoga. I can't wait to go back.
